Specialist international insurance company William Russell have recently relaunched their global life insurance plans. The life insurance policies are designed for expatriates, and the relaunch sees the maximum life benefit increased.
Now, expats are able to insure their life for up to 20 times salary, including commissions and bonus payments. The maximum benefit insured now has a limit of one million, five hundreds thousand dollars.
Inez Cooper was reported as commenting: "Choosing to live and work abroad provides expatriates with tremendously rewarding career and lifestyle opportunities, but they also need to make sure that they have the right insurance to financially protect their income and the security of their families in the event of illness, injury or even death. Most life insurance and income protection plans are simply not designed for expatriates. This is why we have designed our plans to provide expatriates with the level of flexibility and international cover they need to protect their standard of living and provide for those they may leave behind. By increasing our maximum life benefit to $1,500,000 we can offer high-earning expatriates the reassurance that they can select a sum insured that better represents their financial status and provides an improved financial safety net for their families."
