Legal and General say life insurance equals peace of mind

According to financial services group and life insurance company Legal and General, life insurance policies provide guaranteed peace of mind for any family.

Worrying L&G research showed that just 63 per cent of fathers have life insurance . Furthermore, just 33 per cent have critical illness cover and 27 per cent have income protection .

The protection marketing and channel development director at the company, Alan Ferguson, reportedly commented: " Protection insurance can help provide peace of mind that a family could maintain its living standards if dad was critically ill or passed away. Given the economic backdrop, now could be a good time to consider how to protect your family against financial hardship."
