Life insurance company releases survey about regret

Tue, 17 Feb 2009

According to study results released by a life insurance company, as many as a third of women aged over 60 regret their choice of partner. Furthermore, almost 66 per cent said that the 60s had passed them by.

More Than Life Insurance released a study that showed the height of rebellion for most young people in that era was growing their hair long. The life insurance company found that two thirds of men regretted not dating more people before settling down, whilst three in ten thought they had let their perfect partner slip away.

More Than expert Pete Markey reportedly commented: "It seems that in the sixties most people were too busy with their jobs and raising families to have been involved in all the action we associate with this era - and now they wish they hadn't let all the excitement pass them by. We want this research to act as a call to action for everyone, young and old, to get out there and live life to the full. Life isn't a rehearsal and we only get one attempt, so why not seize the day?"
