Statistics from life insurance company

Life insurance and critical illness insurance provider Bright Grey have published their first set of claims statistics relating to critical illness and life insurance policies . The company have reportedly paid out over £20 million in life cover not to mention £14 million in critical illness insurance .

The report indicates that the largest critical illness insurance payout was £260,000, whilst the largest life insurance claim was £1.65 million. The company reported that their average payout on claims was around £77,000.

Bright Grey offer a unique service called Helping Hand, and the statistics indicate that 86% of customers use this. Helping Hand is individual case management for critical illness claims, with a fully qualified nurse, home visits and complementary therapies.
