Life insurance getting cheaper

According to a recent Motley Fool article, despite the dire state of financial services and unprecedented pressure on the consumer, life insurance policies are actually getting cheaper.

The same research, apparently, indicates that travel insurance is also sliding in price, whilst home and car insurance have remained level rather than increasing. Citing the British Insurance Premium Index provided by the AA, it appears that life insurance policies are one of the few things going down in price.

Insurance customers could take this opportunity to purchase insurance at a cheaper price, as many insurance policies are expected to become more expensive later in the year.

Life insurance premiums were reported to have plummeted in recent years, meaning many policyholders could be paying an uncompetitive level of insurance .
