Life insurance company make charity partnership

According to a report in the life insurance news today, life insurance company LV= are to partner up with charity WRVS, who are one of Cilla Black’s chosen charities . The move is a further association between the life insurance firm and the star, who is the face of their TV advertising campaign promoting 50 plus life insurance policies .

According to the report, LV= will give £1 every time someone takes out a 50 plus plan in 2008. The funds will go towards the range of services offered by WRVS volunteers, who help elderly people who might otherwise feel isolated or lonely.

Cilla Black was reported in the news as commenting: "I am delighted that LV= is helping one of my favourite charities. This generous pledge will make a real difference by alleviating loneliness and helping older people to get out and about."
