Life insurance agreement between two companies

Barclays has signed a life insurance agreement that will see Norwich Union supplying life insurance for the bank .

Norwich Union, owned by insurance giant Aviva, offer a variety of life insurance policies . Currently, the company is offering Mortgage Life Insurance and Term Assurance products.

News reports indicate that Barclays will offer the policies to borrowers in an attempt to help with credit crunch financial trouble, and the increasing burden of high repayment levels, utility bills and fuel prices .

The move could particularly aid those people in search of critical illness cover, according to reports in the life insurance news .
