Insurance company Bright Grey has made it clear that insurance companies have a duty, and a responsibility to consumers. The life insurance and protection company has made clear a core range of insurance principles.

The insurance guidelines include the fact that protection is about serving the customer, and that the customer provides the insurance industry with finance and jobs. The insurance company is the expert, but this means they must ask the right questions, whether in person or on the phone.

Bright Grey said that insurance policies need to be more transparent, accessible and easier to understand. Communication between companies and their customers was essential, and insurance companies had to take the blame for claims problems.
