UK insurance company LV= have improved their life insurance and critical illness insurance pricing as part of their Flexible Protection Plan product range. 53% of rates in the range have been reduced.
Individuals taking out life and critical illness insurance policies can now expect reductions in their monthly premiums .
The Head of Protecton at LV=, Chris McFarlane, reportedly commented: "This latest rate review activity is another great example of our commitment to providing quality, competitive protection solutions. These improvements ensure that our protection covers continue to be both accessible and attractive."
The move reflects wide re-pricing strategies by a number of key insurance companies, many of whom have made their policies cheaper in order to remain price-friendly in the competitive UK life insurance market.
