50 per cent off life insurance with Sainsburys Bank

Tue, 20 Mar 2007

Sainsbury’s Bank will offer 50 per cent off life insurance premiums for a three month period, for those customers who sign up for a life insurance policy before April 23rd. The cheaper premiums are available to both customers who sign up online, and those who buy over the telephone.

Claire Moyles, the life insurance manager of Sainsbury’s Bank, reportedly commented: "Life insurance can help provide great peace of mind in the knowledge that your dependants could receive a cash lump sum if you were to die. Quality cover does not have to be expensive and right now you can save an extra 50% for the first three months if you apply for a policy with us."

The Sainsbury’s Bank discounts are part of an industry-wide cuts on life insurance premiums. Supermarkets have recently entered the life insurance industry, and are offering discount policies. For instance, Sainsbury’s Bank life insurance premiums start at just five pounds a month.
