Three months free from Tesco Life Insurance

Wed, 20 Jun 2007

Tesco Life Insurance, fast becoming one of the major players in the supermarket insurance sector, will be providing three months’ worth of free cover to new policyholders who get a quote between 20th June and 14th August, and go on to buy a policy.

The special deal applies to both Tesco Life Insurance and Tesco Mortgage Life Insurance, and to quotes taken out both over the telephone and online. Tesco offer several life insurance policies, using their distribution network, household name, and online presence to secure a market.

The deal requires policy holders to pay off one premium instalment. At this point, Tesco will supply a cheque for 25 per cent of the whole year one premium. The head of Tesco Life Insurance, Mr. Jeremy Sutton, reportedly commented: "We are committed to giving our customers great value life insurance and wanted to offer them something back on a type of product which they would usually only receive a benefit from in the most tragic circumstances."
