Be open in life insurance application

Thu, 14 Jun 2007

Customers looking for a life insurance policy are being advised to maintain complete openness and honesty when applying for cover . Failing to do so, one life insurance company warns, could lead to an invalidated claim .

Lifesearch, a UK life insurer, have warned that failing to inform insurance companies of any dangerous activity of occupation, as well as any medical condition, could affect consumer attempts to make a claim.

A Lifesearch policy advisor, Matt Morris, reportedly commented: "This goes to show that life offices do pay out in the vast majority of cases, even in situations where you may at first think they wouldn't. Life cover is actually a very reliable product."

The fact remains, when applying for any kind of insurance policy, be open.
