Cost of life insurance drops

According to a recent report by Sainsbury’s Bank, the expense of meeting life insurance premium payments has fallen on average. The Bank confirmed that consumers could still save money by shopping around for the most competitive life assurance quote .

To record the statistics, Sainsbury’s investigated 38 different customer profiles, and found dropping premiums for some 70 per cent of them. This included large decreases for both women and smokers .

Sainsbury’s recorded considerable disparity between different insurance companies, with some charging over two-thirds more for the same policy. The findings confirmed that getting quotes from several insurance companies and shopping around for the best deal would likely result in lower premiums, come considerably so.
