The six tips provided by the LIFE Foundation include the following:
Review you life insurance as often as possible. Reviewing your life insurance is essential whenever your circumstances change. For instance, is you get a raise at work or take on new debt, you should let your insurance company know. Any major event, such as marriage of childbirth are a given. Significant changes to your life need to be insured, so keep and eye on your insurance policy .
Check that you arent paying over the odds, because life insurance prices for term insurance seem to be dropping. Taking a fresh look at your life cover could lead to lower rates and a smaller premium payment.
The tips also include protection of your salary with disability insurance, long-term care insurance in advance, keeping abreast of your beneficiaries, and having a meeting with a qualifies insurance professional to review your insurance on an annual basis.
