Life insurance company chooses software

PruProtect, a new life insurance company that is a joint venture between Prudential Insurance and the fastest growing life insurance company in South Africa, Discovery Life, have chosen Skywire Software to personalise and improve policy documents for their new business.

Skywire are one of the market leaders in enterprise software and insurance industry services, and will be buoyed by the PruProtect decision. The Customer Communications Management (CCM) Solutions software they have chosen will aid in producing, managing and delivering its policy-related correspondence.

The CCM software that the life insurance company will use will consist of Documaker Studio, Documanage and Docupresentment – all of which increase the speed of delivering policy documents.

The chief operations officer at PruProtect, Jaco Brand, reportedly commented: "Document design and modification is typically a systems task that requires highly skilled IT personnel. PruProtect needs a tool that makes the production of documents faster, allows for very quick changes and basically puts the design of documents in the business area. The Skywire Software products were selected based on the evaluation done by Discovery Life, and an early view of the product capabilities within Discovery."
