New life insurance from MSN and Moneyextra

Thu, 26 Apr 2007

The UK search portal MSN, in conjunction with IFA Moneyextra, will today launch a new type of financial service, giving visitors to MSN full access to life insurance policies throughout the whole market.

Using a simple form, MSN visitors will be able to obtain life insurance quotes and gain access to a range of expert advice, on both life insurance and critical illness cover . The new service completed its first custom today, putting life assurance cover into effect and posting out policy documents.

The Senior Editor at Moneyextra, Robin Amlot, reportedly commented: "A significant proportion of UK consumers are paying over the odds for their life insurance and many of those with insurance don’t have enough. This new tool could help to save the great British public millions of pounds in premiums, simply by sourcing them a more cost effective and suitable policy for their individual needs."

MSN are understandably pleased with the arrangements, with Alex Marks, a head of marketing, reportedly commenting: "The new tool, launched on MSN with Moneyextra, brings cutting edge technology and exciting new content to MSN UK’s 16.8million users per month and is an example of how we’re continually striving to improve the user experience."
